I did what I thought I would never do. I cut all of my hair.
LOL not literally, but it is so short. On my birthday, September 9th I cut my hair pretty short, after I grew it out for about 2 years. I had a "Lob" the long bob. Now I have the "Bob" and I feel so naked. My hairdresser gave me a "undercut" I thought she was shaving the back of my head, luckily she didn't, but I feel like it was close enough to shaving my head. I never thought my hair was going to be this short. The complete bottom of my hair, that layer is probably a few millimeters, yes, you read that right, not centimeters- millimeters. I LOVE putting my hair up in ponytails, but I guess I won't be going that anytime soon now. The pictures really don't show how short my hair actually is. Let's just say Sheldon has more hair than I do and that really weirds me out. & I think it bothers him too, but he's nice enough to not say anything about it. Everyone that saw it says they love the way it looks. I like it, I can't say that I love it though. I like the front, but I'm still on the fence about the back- at this very moment I'm leaning more towards disliking it right now. Hopefully it will grow on me soon.
by the way, Sheldon said I look like a mushroom- what do you guys think? :(
Okay, so let me first start off by saying- "I'm sorry!" It has been FOREVER since I have posted anything on here, let alone an overview of a makeup look. Since I really have nothing to do, I remembered that I have been neglecting my blog, so here I go! I had my significant other Sheldon come up with a bunch of colour combinations because I personally wasn't feeling too creative and white he was naming off a bunch of colours to me I decided to throw in "Red, White & Green" since Christmas technically is right around the corner. I've been doing a lot of "boring" looks you could say, nothing was really, well for a lack of better words 'me'. So I wanted this look to be pretty dramatic, so I knew I wanted to do a cut crease, which if you didn't know is my specialty ;). The eyes were actually really simple to do, I only used 6 colours total.
I used NYX White E/S, Wild Cherry by Kryolan and used it wet. Then I took the colour Kid by MAC very lightly above my crease, then I lined above the red and white with the colour Blackberry from the same Viva palette the red was in, after that I went over that gray/black colour with the colour Humid by MAC, it's gorgeous dark green colour. I then blended that colour in, after I blended the top of Humid and added my highlight which was the colour White again by NYX, I used the colour Bough Grey by MAC to diffuse Humid, so it blended in better with the white highlight. Since I couldn't find my tape (which literally ended up being RIGHT next to me, but I overlooked it like 7 times LOL) I used Milk Jumbo Pencil by NYX to highlight the straight edge of the eye. On my face I used the contour/ bronzing powder from my ELF face duo, to contour and slim down my face, then I highlighted the high points of my face with Luna Cream Colour Base by MAC. Lips I used my OCC lip tar in Tone ( I think, the name rubbed off, so I'm not 100% sure of what it is) and on top of that I used my lipgloss by Estee Lauder in the colour Golden Goddess ( That is the most STUNNING lip combo on the face of the earth if you have pale skin like myself. In case anyone wants to know- on my face foundation wise I used my List Watier Portfolio Corrector Wheel, Cover FX foundation in E0 down the middle of my face, and my Stila One Step Foundation around the rest of my face. I'm obviously the colour Fair.

As you can probably tell already these photo's were taken straight off of my youtube page, I honestly forgot to take pictures of my makeup both days, & I wanted to show you the looks... so this was the best way to do it! The "Day" Fall makeup look is pretty much the 2011 fall trend, light neutral eyes and a burgundy, or dark lip. I changed it up just a little bit just so it would be a little more fun. I added a blue mascara instead of a black so the eyes would stand out more, and to highlight the lip I added the gold from my MUFE Flash Palette, which definitely matches the eyes. For the "Night" look I wanted to stick to the basic colours from the fall makeup trend but spice it up a bit and make it more metallic. I used golds, blacks, and silver. Yes, I mixed silver and gold together and made it work. I think that you can mix those colours together, as long as you do it with little of one colour, and more of another one. For the lips, I wanted all of the focus to be on the eyes, so I wanted to make my lips very nude, you don't have to use a nude colour on the lips for this look, you could use pretty much any light lip colour, but nothing too heavy.

I know in the beauty world we have all seen this makeup look before at least one time-it's from a dior runway show.. but I'm not too sure what year it was done. I have a picture folder on my computer filled with makeup inspiration photos, and photo's of makeup looks that I want to try out, so finally after several months of having that folder, I opened it up two nights ago and grabbed a bunch of makeup and recreated the look. I don't mind the way it turned out, I know I can do better then that but for now I'll leave it at that. Let me know what you think of the look, it's super easy & if you want to see a tutorial on the look then feel free to ask. I obviously don't have all of the products that they used, but I tried to just use what I had. I didn't have any lashes close to the ones that the models had on so in the photo I'm wearing THREE pairs of falsies (my eyes were so heavy LOL)!

Once I saw the makeup that Nicki Minaj had on in her and Rihanna's most recent music video I fell in love. This was the first makeup tutorial I have done that I re-created from a music video. I loved all the makeup in the video, but my all time favourite look out of all of them was the one Nicki Minaj was wearing in the beginning, with the glitter on her eyelid, bottom lashline then a warm slightly defined crease, & a baby pink lip. It was just stunning!
The products that were used were:
Face: Lise Watier Portfolio Corrector Wheel
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation- Siberia
Cover FX Foundation in E0
Cover FX Nourishing Primer
Cover FX Light Setting Powder
MAC Angel Blush
Eyes: Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer

NYX Yellow Eyeliner
Lise Watier Glitter Eyeliner- Sunshine
NYX Glitter- Apple

Hello, so this is my first birthday outfit idea, I wanted a pump that is really going to stand out, so why not do a red? They are 80$ at Aldo (made of synthetic material!). & I just love Guess, so I wanted to see what dresses they had there, and to my own surprise this one was only 100$. I love dresses and shirts with a looser fit on top, and I just love the way it looks overall!
